Learnership Programme
Building the next generation of South African pharmaceutical manufacturing skills.
Commitment Strategy
At Ravenstone, we believe that world-class manufacturing is built on skilled local expertise. Our commitment to South African pharmaceutical manufacturing goes beyond our production lines — it extends to the communities where we operate. Through our learnership programme, we offer a structured pathway for young South Africans to gain high-demand skills in a sector critical to national health security. We are not just creating employees; we are building the technical foundation for a sustainable pharmaceutical industry.
ROTATION
Structured placement across manufacturing and administrative functions, so every learner leaves with practical experience in more than one discipline.

Qualification CriteriaÂ
Benefits Of The Programme
The programme is open to unemployed South Africans aged 18 to 35 who have completed at least Grade 9. We prioritise applicants from the Johannesburg South, specifically targeting dedicated individuals who demonstrate an aptitude for technical work and a discipline for process-heavy manufacturing environments.
Completion of the Ravenstone learnership provides more than just a certificate. Graduates leave with a fundamental understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), hands-on experience in pharmaceutical production, laboratory oversight, and logistics. This practical foundation makes our graduates highly employable within the broader manufacturing, healthcare, and chemical sectors.
INTAKE
A maximum of twenty-five learners per intake, hand-selected through our engagement with schools and community organisations.
QUALIFICATION
An NQF Level 4 certification. Accreditation is currently being finalised.
DURATION
Twelve month programme, commencing 2027.
Skills Development Partnerships
We collaborate with corporate partners looking to fulfil their Skills Development requirements under the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. By partnering with Ravenstone, organisations can direct their training spend into a high-impact, technical programme that directly contributes to youth employment and industrialisation in South Africa.
